Class Descriptions
Basics: Explores the breath,
focuses on correct alignment and the fundamentals of yoga
postures; geared toward beginners with some experience,
but all levels are welcome to review the basics.
All Levels: Builds on the
basics. The teacher will adjust the pace accordingly, giving
variations for different levels...however, not recommended
for very beginners.
Vinyasa: A challenging
class where one posture flows into the next, initiated
by the breath; experience recommended.
Iyengar Yoga: Develop strength,
endurance and correct alignment in addition to flexibility
and relaxation. Each asana has many subtle adjustments,
not only physical, but on the very fabric of the intelligence
and consciousness. Suitable for all levels.
Anusara: Using the unique “Universal
Principles of Alignment" the body is mindfully lined
up so the flow of Grace is deeply felt. When optimally
aligned each posture is a gateway to opening the heart.
We nourish the body and our connection to the universe.

Svaroopa® Yoga focuses
on the safe and gradual release of chronic pain and discomfort.
Using deep relaxation, breathwork, and precise alignment,
this gentle form of hatha yoga guides you through a series
of well-supported poses designed to release core tensions
in the spine and thus throughout the entire body/mind.
Gentle Yoga: A
very gentle hatha yoga class suitable for all ages and
abilities. Excellent for pre-natal, post-natal, injury
recovery and limited mobility.
Strong Vinyasa Flow: A new class for those wanting a challenge in their practice and to climb to new heights. Raghunath weaves chanting, dynamic sequencing, and life experiences from his travels in India into an inspiring class that is physically and spiritually uplifting.
