Class Descriptions
Basics: explores the breath,
focuses on correct alignment and the fundamentals of yoga
postures; geared toward beginners with some experience,
but all levels are welcome to review the basics.
All Levels: all levels of
ability may join this class; the teacher will adjust the
pace accordingly. However not recommended for very
beginners.
Vinyasa: challenging
class where one posture flows into the next, initiated
by the breath; experience recommended.
Iyengar Yoga: Develop strength,
endurance and correct alignment in addition to flexibility
and relaxation. Each asana has many subtle adjustments,
not only physical, but on the very fabric of the intelligence
and consciousness. Suitable for all levels.
Anusara: Using the unique "Universal
Principles of Alignment" the body is mindfully lined
up so the flow of Grace is deeply felt. When optimally
aligned each posture is a gateway to opening the heart.

Svaroopa® Yoga focuses
on the safe and gradual release of chronic pain and discomfort.
Using deep relaxation, breathwork, and precise alignment,
this gentle form of hatha yoga guides you through a series
of well-supported poses designed to release core tensions
in the spine and thus throughout the entire body/mind.
Gentle Chair Yoga:A very gentle
practice for people who wish to relieve stress, be revitalized
and heal. The practice is done seated in a chair or by
using the chair for support and balance. Suitable for people
of any age and will benefit most health conditions.
